Welcome back to another round of Tuesdays With Lazerbeak. The second leg of the All Hands Tour marches onward this week, and the dudes have finally hit the West Coast! They’ll be making their way through Washington, Oregon, and California this week, after playing a beyond sold-out show in Seattle last night. Portland is up next tonight (Tuesday, tix HERE), followed by San Francisco on Thursday (SOLD OUT!), Los Angeles on Friday (less than 30 tix left HERE), Pomona on Saturday (tix HERE), Mesa on Monday (tix HERE), and Albuquerque next Tuesday (tix HERE). This tour has seen bigger crowds than ever before, and we’ve already logged sold-out shows in Dallas, Austin, Philly, DC, Boston, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Madison, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. One million thanks to everyone who has already come out and supported the tour. If you live anywhere near the West Coast or the Southwest, make sure you grab your tickets right HERE before they’re all gone. Check out the flyer below for full dates.
Here’s a couple of cool crowd shots from last week’s string of shows, just to give you an idea of what we’re working with. These first two are from Andy Boonstra in Omaha, followed by Brent Benedict in Englewood, and Ander Other in Salt Lake City.
Tour is great and all, but in actuality only about 15% of your day is taken up playing awesome sweaty rap shows. Almost the entire other 85% is made up of slowly going crazy and completely losing your mind while traveling the country with your best friends. For proof of this, here are some things the dudes have apparently been getting into since they left home this second time around. P.O.S discovered some incredible new hairpieces.
Sims made possibly the greatest Instagram video and show announcement ever, at the SAME DAMN TIME (click below, you will not regret it).
Cecil Otter discovered this new Faceover app and never looked back. Here are just a few of the masterpieces he’s created over the past week. They should really be shown in a gallery at some point. The level of detail and craftsmanship is astonishing.
Mike, Dessa, and Stef formed a new three-headed R&B group called Scientifical T.H.U.G. Formation.
Aaaaaand Paper Tiger officially fell off the deep end. It’s really hard for me not to imagine Stef and Papes as an amazing old married couple after seeing this.
Some of our generation’s greatest minds slowly unraveling one day at a time, and they’re only a week into the second leg! We still have to make it through the final boss level that is SXSW in a couple weeks. Speeeeeeeaking of SXSW (Segue! Segue! Segue!), we’ll be arriving in beautiful Austin, TX on Thursday, March 19th to rock our official Doomtree Records SXSW label showcase. It all goes down at Karma Lounge from 8pm-2am. SIX HOURS OF MUSIC (!!!), including solo sets from every member and two separate full crew performances. Not to be missed. Check out the stats below and go HERE for a full detailed list of the night’s schedule.
That’s just the beginning of it though. We’ll be sticking around on Friday and Saturday to play about one millllllion day parties and in-studio events. Things kick off at 1:00pm on Friday, March 20th with the NoiseTrade day party at Swan Dive. We’re playing alongside Surfer Blood, Royal Teeth, and a bunch of others. FREE.99 when you RSVP HERE.
Then we head over to Empire Control Room & Garage at 3:00pm, playing alongside Smallpools, Night Terrors of 1927, and Ex-Cops. Again, get your free tickets right HERE with RSVP.
At 4:30pm our very own Mike Mictlan will be playing a free solo set at Holy Mountain for the Midwest Showcase, presented by First Avenue, Majestic, and Metro. Hippo Campus, Prof, and deM atlaS are also on the bill.
At 5:30pm the whole crew reunites at The Liberty for the BreakThru Radio day party. This lineup is insane. We’ll be headlining the show, with performances from THEESatisfaction, Icky Blossoms, and Deerhoof taking place right beforehand.
That wraps up Friday’s festivities (four shows in one day is about our threshold). On Saturday, we’re taking it a little more chill. We’ll be kicking things off at Vulcan at 2:00pm for the big CraveOnline day party (details still announcing), followed by an in-studio performance for Consequence of Sound’s “Off The Avenue” series, and then at 6:00pm Sims will be playing a free solo set at The Blind Pig for Copycats big day party. K.Flay, Raz Simone, and Later Babes are also on the bill. Check out the full lineup below.
Aaaaaand that should about do it for SXSW, barring any last minute show additions. At this point everyone will finally come home for a well needed rest before heading out on the big All Hands European Tour, which is already shaping up quite nicely. Tickets to our London show sold out in a matter of hours last week, so we’ve gone ahead and added another night on Friday, June 26th over at The Garage. Check out the flyer below and grab your tickets HERE.
Below is a list of all the other current Euro dates. There are still a few other shows that will be announcing over the course of the next month, so definitely stay tuned. Grab your tickets right HERE.
Alright, I think we’ve definitely covered enough show announcements for one week, so let’s jump right into this week’s extremely special Bonus Jam Mixtape. The ultimate homies in Get Cryphy are getting ready to celebrate their seven year anniversary with a massive party at First Avenue on March 14th. Performances from Le1f, Tickle Torture, Lizzo, Toki Wright, Mike the Martyr, and Bobby Raps are all already confirmed, and you know that’s in addition to the tons of special unannounced guests that are guaranteed to pop up throughout the night. Some of the best things about these anniversary parties are the amazing Get Cryphy mixes that usually accompany them, and this year is no different. Check out the brand new 35-minute Get Cryphy Last Action Heroes mixtape below and get seriously amped for the show this Saturday (grab tix HERE). So happy this project came out just in time for Spring. It is definitely time to crack the windows on the old Camry and blast this thing all over the city. Download the whole tape right HERE for exactly FREE.99!

I’ll leave you with a few Bonus Baby Pics before calling it a day. We’ve been getting a ton of extra mileage out of these “Gray Duck” music video props over at the Mader household as of late. Penny has been running around QUACKING her brothers up nonstop (DAD JOKE), as you can see below.
And speaking of the brothers, here’s Lou and Cam chilling in a cool tunnel while they count down the days to their big One Year milestone. I cannot believe that as of this Friday we’ll have officially survived a whole year of living with these little hellions (I mean angels). Mom and Dad may need another serious vacation celebration after it’s all said and done.
Here’s one last pic of the boyz letting their guard down and really showing off their true colors. That’s Crab Man Cam on the left with the eternal screw face, and Laid Back Lou on the right, basking in the sunshine and smiling away. Classic personality trait dichotomy.
OK, that’s it for today’s post. I hope you all have a wonderful week. I’m flying out quick to the LA show this Friday, so hopefully I’ll see some of you out at The Roxy. If not, I’ll be right back here next Tuesday for sure. See you then!
