Welcome back to another action-packed Tuesdays With Lazerbeak. Today I’d like to continue my current unstoppable Spotify mix series by dropping Lazerbeak’s highly anticipated Killers Starter Pack, standing 100% behind my claim that The Killers are indeed the greatest American rock band of this century!!!!!
Shouts to my good friend Arlo for the photo shop tag team on the the album cover. I went with Guy Fierri and he threw in Sleeping Kanye. Check out the mix right HERE. 25 insane heaters covering every official Killers album, plus some bonus Brandon Flowers solo joints at the end for good measure. It does not get any better than this. Enjoy!
Mike Mictlan just wrapped up his Gasoline Run mini tour with Prof this past weekend. The dudes stopped by Madison’s Isthmus Studios and Mike laid down a live version of his HELLA FRREAL standout track “Mid-West-Coast.” Check out the video below.
And get SUPER AMPED because Mike and Prof have just announced a whole slew of extra tour dates together all the way out to the East Coast and back through the Midwest this April. So tight. Check out the dates and cities below and make sure to grab your tickets and even more show details right HERE.
P.O.S has been popping up on guest features all over the place lately as he’s been diving back into solo material. Last week we brought you his latest collaboration with Onry Ozzborn (listen HERE), and this week we’ve got a brand new track from P.O.S and our good friend Tufawon! Check out “Dead of Night” below and make sure to listen to Tufawon’s brand new Send Off EP right HERE.

Stef will be hitting Fargo and Sioux Falls in just a few weeks from now. Check out the flyers for each show below and grab tickets and info right HERE.
Dessa was recently featured on the big-time food show “The Splendid Table,” and they just released video of the full interview and live performance online. Check out her culinary chat with the host, followed by a stripped down rendition of “Call Off Your Ghost” with Aby Wolf.
Speaking of speaking (Segue Streak, nailed it), I was on a panel last week at the Walker Art Center dealing with all sorts of different types of artists and the creative ways we find to piece together a living. Shouts to Jehra Patrick, Edie Overturf, Saymoukda Vongsay, and Kathryn Sieve for the excellent discussion and after-panel drinks. That was a blast. Here’s a shot of the stage.
And here’s apparently a shot of what the packed house looked like in the auditorium that night. Sleeping Kanye was apparently not super impressed. Thanks Arlo.
That’s about it for Doomtree news this week. You already know what the Bonus Jams are looking like. If you’ve never listened to The Killers, or maybe happen to just know “Mr. Brightside,” I’m begging you to check this mix out and join my small local cult of die-hard Killers fans so we can squad up the next time they come to town and represent at the show. Stream the whole 25-song Killers Starter Pack mix right HERE.
I’ll leave you with a handful of Bonus Baby Pics pretty much entirely taken by my mom (thanks Mom, I’m the worst at taking photos). Lou and Cam have been loving the snow these past few weeks. Here they are all bundled up taking a nice leisurely stroll around our backyard deck.
And here’s Lou having a hearty chuckle at who knows what (possibly recalling a funny deep cut scene from Frozen?).
Here’s the Crab Man shedding his standoffish demeanor for a brief second to reveal his true inner happiness.
We bundled all the kids up last week and headed out to South St. Paul for my brother-in-law’s surprise 30th birthday. It took place at a pretty sweet bowling alley, and the JAMMY BOYZ took full advantage of the dueling Fast & Furious arcade stations.
Here’s the honorary JAMMY GYRL throwing her first bowling ball.Excellent follow through. She’s a natural.
She’s also a total bowling party animal. This one-legged arm shake dance is catching on at lanes all throughout the country.
We got to kick it with a bunch of close friends and their kids this weekend. Here’s Young Nelpz with her good buddy Cray Faye, watching some dumb adult open kids toys on YouTube for hours. Don’t even get me started.
BREAKTHROUGH!!! Cam and Penny kind of like each other sometimes. Here they are watching more increasingly dumb adults open kids toys on YouTube for hours. OK, I’m getting started.
That’s a wrap for this post! We just had an offer accepted on a new (much bigger!) house, so these posts might get a bit shorter over the next couple weeks as we scramble to sell our place and get everything boxed up and moved on over. Just a heads up. Hope you all have an excellent week and I’ll see you back here next Tuesday for another edition of TWL!
