Welcome back to another edition of Tuesdays With Lazerbeak! We are now less than two weeks out from the release of Sound the Bells, the epic collaborative live album between Dessa and the Minnesota Orchestra, and to ramp up excitement to a fever pitch we’ve released one final single from the project to whet your appetite. Huge shouts to New York Public Radio and WNYC for premiering “The Chaconne” yesterday. You can read all about it right HERE and stream the song below. One of my favorites from this absolutely crazy album.

And with that awesome news, the Sound the Bells Pre-Order continues to roll on. Check out some of the sweet pre-order items that have started to come in. Big time shouts to all 300 people who snatched up the now sold-out Collector’s Edition.
This Saturday (11/2) is the final day to pre-order if you’d like to be guaranteed the early ship date of November 5th. All orders received after the 2nd will be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis. Huge shouts to Stacy Griffin of Minneapolis for winning this week’s signed test pressing drawing. We’ve got a huge Shredders Halloween Weekend Throwdown coming up in a few days. P.O.S, Sims, Paper Tiger, and myself will be headlining club dates in Chicago (10/31), Eau Claire (11/1), and Iowa City (11/2) this week, and these will be some of our first shows in support of the new Shredders sophomore album Great Hits. Check out these ridiculous Halloween-themed promo videos below and please pass the word around to any people you might have nearby these cities. You can grab tickets right HERE. Can’t wait to party with a ton of you! Shouts to my man Zeke Salo for putting these vids together.
Shredders will also be hitting up a ton of cities on the West Coast and East Coast before the year is over. Check out the full dates below and grab tickets to all the events HERE. Portland, San Fran, Seattle, and Denver: YOU’RE NEXT.
That’s the main Doomtree-related news this week, so let’s get into a belated round of Tuesdays With Lazerbeak Bonus Jams. Lizzo’s reign at the top continues this week as she’s just released the “Good As Hell” remix featuring none other than the Legend God Ariana Grande. I distinctly remember listening to the second Ariana album with Lizzo and Sophia at a block party we played in Madison years ago and freaking out about how good it was. This collab is truly blowing my mind right now.

I’m super into the new King Princess album that just dropped last week. Tons of great songs all over this one. Check out “Hit The Back” below.
King Princess – “Hit The Back”
Also loving the new Caroline Polachek album. Super strong release with great production and vocal layers. Especially into the title track “Pang.” Check it out below.
Caroline Polachek – “Pang”
So excited to hear a new track from Tinashe. Her last two singles were absolute fire and this new “Die A Little Bit” song with Ms Banks continues the streak. Really hoping there’s a new project on the horizon.

Kllo’s debut album was an absolute standout to me and it looks like their gearing back up with this new single “Back To You,” which takes them into a bit of a chiller zone this time around.
Kllo – “Back To You”
Gallant is back! Haven’t gotten to check out the full album yet, but this “Sweet Insomnia” song (with my fav 6LACK) is an instant classic already.

Pumped to check out the new album from Ye Ali. Really dug his Passion & Patience project from a few years ago. Check out “No Keys” below.

Thutmose just dropped this video for new single “Ambience” and I’m all about it.

The new album from Becky G is phenomenal and guaranteed to make you move. Here’s lead-off track “MALA SANTA” to give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
Becky G – “MALA SANTA”
I’m suuuuuuuuper into this new Dawn Chorus album from producer Jacques Greene. He can do no wrong in my eyes.
Jacques Greene – “Do It Without You”
The same goes for this new album from Floating Points. Some of the coolest sound design I’ve heard in years and his abstract use of strings is a total game changer. Highly recommended (plus the music videos are insane).
Floating Points – “Anasicmodular”
Now for a couple of hometown jams. Huge congrats to The Trappistines on releasing their new Test Patterns EP. Every song on this project is a hit. Check out “Easier” below.
The Trappistines – “Easier”
Pure Shifter just dropped a new digital double-single and I’m digging this “Relearn” track a lot.
Pure Shifter – “Relearn”
Big shouts to my guy Yung Wes on the release of his new Insomnia EP. This is the best thing I’ve heard from him yet and I know he’s just heating up.
Yung Wes – “Blame”
Prince Riley continues his streak with this new visual for “Gang Luv.” Riley and Mac Turner are releasing some of the catchiest R&B/Rap hybrid stuff around.
Prince Riley – “Gang Luv”
Same goes for L.A. Trello and this “I Know” song. Excited to check out his new Rookie Year project. Royal Family Music Group are unstoppable right now.

BAM! That’s it for the Bonus Jams. As always, make sure to follow my Spotify Bonus Jams Playlist right HERE to listen to all the heat. Updated every Tuesday morning.
Ok! I hope you all have a lovely week. Make sure to get that Dessa pre-order in. Really excited to see a bunch of yous this weekend for the Shredders tour dates in Chicago, Eau Claire, and Iowa City. And if not then, I’ll see you right back here next Tuesday!
