Since we’re on the Bonus Jam tip already, let’s keep rolling out the heaters. There’s been a ton of great new music that all came out this past week. We’ll start local and work our way out. The Twin Cities Legend God, I Self Devine, just released a new collaboration project with Mujah Messiah on Thanksgiving and it is straight FLAMES. Check out 9th House in its entirety below and grab a copy right HERE for FREE.99. So happy about this.

Lizzo dropped her third single from her upcoming full-length Big GRRRL Small World on Thanksgiving too. Love this one. Check out the great video for “My Skin” below, directed by the powerhouse of Asha Efia, Quinn Wilson, an Lizzo herself.

The homies Open Mike Eagle and Serengeti released their joint album as Cavanaugh, and it is even better than I hoped it would be. Check out “Typecast” below, featuring a sweet guest verse from our very own P.O.S, plus Hemlock Ernst and Busdriver too.

Our homie and road dawg Bleubird just released a brand new Hood Internet remix for standout single “Keith Harringbone ” off of his latest album Lauderdale. Check it out bel0w.

Now for some big time national singles. Erykah Badu dropped her new mixtape over the weekend, and it’s got a gem of a guest feature from Andre 3000. This song is soooooooooo good on so many levels to me. Been listening to it over and over again. Love it.

Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole jacked each other’s beats for a creative double single that came out on Black Friday. Check out the full two tracks, entitled (you guessed it) “Black Friday,” below.

M.I.A. is back with some new music and a pretty powerful self-directed video. Check out “Borders” below.

This next one is one of the best videos I’ve seen in forever. It’s for Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know The Better” and it revolves around a three-way love triangle that involves a highschool basketball mascot. It’s amazing.

And finally, I’ve got to leave you with a new song from the greatest American rock band of this century: THE KILLERS! They’re back with their 9th annual Christmas song for charity, and this one is I think the craziest thing they’ve done yet (which is actually saying quite a bit). There aren’t a whole lot of words to describe it. Just know that there is an actual spoken word breakdown from Richard Dreyfuss towards the end.

Now for a couple of Bonus Baby Pics before we hit the road for Pittsburgh. The artist formerly know as Crab Man Cam has been picking up quite the affinity for musical instruments lately. Here he is giving his best attempt at the recorder. Total fail, but at least he’s giving it a shot.
Here he is in his patented piano squat, tickling the ivories.
And here’s another angle, just to show you the type of learning curve this guy is on.
Here’s the full brood at bath time last weekend. One of the rare times that everyone keeps things super chill.
We had the Wifepiece’s cousin and his wife up from Chicago for the holidays, and they brought their 14-month-old baby Bjorn along with. Such a great weekend of kids running around the house and getting into all sorts of mischief. It was awesome for Lou and Cam to hang out with a dude their age for once. Here’s Lou and Bjorn bonding over The Minions movie. Pretty much the best.
OK! That does it for this post. Can’t wait to see a ton of you out on the road all week long. See you next Tuesday with a big tour recap!
