If you’re like most people, you enjoy checking out local shows, but don’t like to leave the house more than once a month. Enter the Eyes and Hands Festival. E&H has served as a cornerstone of the Minnesota music scene since Norwegian settlers first sang Sexy MF on the banks of the Minnehaha, and this weekend marks the festival’s 204th consecutive year. This one’s line up is absolutely top-notch. Doomtree plays Friday night, as does Digitata, Kill The Vultures, Icollide, If Thousands, and Koalas. As an added bonus, this will be the homecoming show for Cecil Otter and Beret. They’ve been setting grass fires and singing hobo songs from coast to coast for several weeks, and are primed for one helluva show. Friday, April 28th. 21+. $12 (or $20 for a two-day pass).
