Hello hello! Happy May. I’m back with another double dose of Lava Banger II tracks as we continue to roll out the entire 20-track album all year long. In the seventh and eigth slots this month we’ve got “Ferocious Porches” and “Shaky Warrior.” That’s the epic artwork below courtesy once again of my main man Andy McAlpine.
Making “Ferocious Porches” reminded me of those times pre-kids where you could stay up all night at a friend’s house party and inevitably end up on a front porch or stoop by the time the sun started peaking out through the horizon the next morning. The best. “Shaky Warrior” is a bit more out there. Feels like a hero’s journey – I imagine an ancient warrior trudging through the world on an epic quest. Maybe that’s just because I saw The Northman and now all I can think about is epic Viking quests.
